I’m actually very surprised this happened at Walmart.

I worked on an adjacent project with one of their teams many years ago. I was very surprised by how zero tolerance their policies were about receiving anything.

It may have been the team I was working with, but I remember none of them allowed us to buy them coffee from the shop in our lobby when they visited.

The first discussion got flagged, probably because the source article was badly sourced and had too little detail. It didn't mention visas for example.

The claims are unsubstantiated. From the source article:

        > Disclaimer: The identity of the news submitter has been verified by us. However, we have not received any confirmation or verification from Walmart regarding the information provided.

Without proof or corroborating evidence, this is social media rage bait making the rounds. Proof and evidence are of course welcome to substantiate the claims being made.

    This is insane.

I really hate seeing my country and my home being sold off to the highest bidder.

A country is more than an economy.
